London transport posters : a century of art and design was published by London Transport Museum in 2008 to mark 100 years of posters commissioned by the Underground, London Transport, and Transport for London. The book explores the pioneering role of London’s transport companies as leading patrons of poster art, a role established in the early 20th century under the visionary leadership of Frank Pick.
